Soup Kitchen

Our Desire  is to end malnutrition among the people living on the Rubbish dump. Our hearts are made happy when we see hunger satisfied! 

For many people this bowl of highly nutritious soup/Xhosa stew is the only meal they get for that day.​ In our kitchen, we make three nutritious meals per day for our  30+ kids in the preschool and baby centre. We also serve lunch daily to the 250+ children and adults living in the community. Once a month we hand out food parcels to each family represented in the community.

We have seen many walls come down in the hearts of hungry people when we choose to meet their physical need of hunger. Our people feel loved and valued just knowing that God cares for them in this way.
