SoZo Ministry

A journey into Devine emotional, spiritual, mental and physical wholeness.

SoZo Defined:

Sozo is a beautiful Greek word that means *“wholeness.”*

It speaks to a life fully restored—wholeness in spirit, soul (mind, will, and emotions), and body.

This ministry is a gentle and Spirit-led process where we partner with the Holy Spirit to uncover truth and draw closer to the heart of God. Through Sozo, you can experience deeper intimacy with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as He brings freedom, healing, and revelation into your life.

As it says in John 3:2, “that in all respects we would prosper and be in good health, just as our souls prosper.”

Jesus reminds us in John 8:32, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

Sozo is about walking in that freedom and wholeness, discovering more of “the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:18).

It’s an invitation to step into the fullness of God’s love and purpose for your life.

Preparing for Your Sozo Session

Your Sozo session is an opportunity to experience healing, freedom, and deeper intimacy with God. Here are some ways you can prepare:

Pray

Spend time with the Holy Spirit, asking Him to reveal and break any areas of unbelief or strongholds in your life. Invite Jesus to establish His truth in your heart and press into greater intimacy with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Fast (Optional)

If you feel led, consider fasting as a way to prepare your heart and focus your spirit. This could be a full fast, a partial fast, or abstaining from activities like TV, sports, or electronics. If you have health concerns, please consult your doctor first.

- During your fast, spend time in prayer, meditate on God’s Word, and practice His presence.

- Avoid fasting on the day of your Sozo session to ensure you’re physically and mentally prepared.

Relax

Sozo is a gentle and Spirit-led process—there’s no need to worry or come with preconceived expectations. The Holy Spirit is trustworthy and will guide the session, bringing the healing and freedom you need.

Remember, healing is a joyful journey. Rest in God’s love and come with an open heart, ready to encounter His presence.

As an inner healing ministry it goes to the root of lies we have believed and replaces these lies with truth received in an encounter with one of the persons of the Godhead.

Meditate On God's word:

Study and reflect on the scriptures on the following page.

Psalm 107:20a:

"He sent forth His Word and healed them..."

2 Corinthians 3:16-18

"Whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is - there is freedom. And

we, who with unveiled faces - all reflect the Lord's glory are being transformed into

His likeness with ever increasing glory which comes from the Lord who is the

Spirit.”

Ephesians 4:15

"Speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him, who is the

head, even Christ. “

Romans 12:2

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of

your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of

God. “

Psalm 52:8,9

"But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God. I trust in God's unfailing

love forever and ever.

I will praise You for what you have done.

In Your Name I will hope for Your Name is good. “

Here are personalized declarations based on the scriptures:

1. Psalm 107:20

"I declare that God has sent forth His Word, and it brings healing and restoration to every part of my life."

2. 2 Corinthians 3:16-18

"I turn to the Lord, and the veil is removed from my eyes. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom, and I am being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory."

3. Ephesians 4:15

"I speak the truth in love and grow in every way to become more like Christ, who is the head of my life and all things."

4. Romans 12:2

"I choose not to conform to the patterns of this world. My mind is renewed by God’s truth, and I walk in His good, acceptable, and perfect will."

5. Psalm 52:8-9

"I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God. I trust in His unfailing love forever and ever. I praise Him for what He has done and place my hope in His good and powerful Name."

Speak these declarations aloud as reminders of God’s promises and His work in your life!

SoZo tools to expect to be used in your session:

FORGIVENESS IS FREEDOM

The depth of your freedom will be determined by your obedience to forgive. Not

necessarily your feeling or desire or justification to forgive.

Please prepare your heart to forgive.

Forgiveness is for you, your freedom, your healing.

Forgiveness does not justify wrongdoing or excuses your offender.

Forgiveness does not mean you have to reconnect with unsafe people or

experiences.

Forgiveness frees you.

Forgiveness may trigger deep wounds.

We encourage you to go there and heal.

Unforgiveness:

Unforgiveness does not hurt the one who harmed you, it hurts only you and binds you in prison of

torment, leading to bitterness, hatred and anger.

Unforgiveness blocks the fullness of God in your life .

Extending forgiveness does the following wonderful things:

When you forgive, you step out of the way and let God have direct line to that person. This means you are relieved of the burden you have been carrying, it frees you from a prison of torment and it closes a door which allows the enemy to have access to you.

Forgiveness is a choice - it allows you to say:

"I choose to give grace" "I chose to let this person go into God's hands”

Take a few moments to reflect on the following scriptures:

Matt. 6:14-15

"For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."

Matt. 18:21-35

The story of a servant who would not forgive, after he was forgiven much. The master tells him:“

Shouldn't you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you? In anger his master turned him over to the jailers (tormentors) to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed. This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart." (v. 33-35)

Luke 6:37

"Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven."

Forgiveness is a command from the Lord. Forgiveness is a choice, not a feeling.

Forgiveness is vital to deliverance & freedom.
